We sell professionally sheared fleeces, fleeces sheared with hand shears, and rooed fleeces.
Professionally sheared fleece come in one blanket off the sheep.
Fleeces sheared with blade shears generally have less double cuts and usually come off in one peice.
After skirting, sheared fleeces are folded in thirds lengthwise and then rolled up from the tail to the neck.
Rooed fleeces are by tradition with Shetlands, plucked in the spring with the break called a rise. There are no cut ends making for a softer hand. Sometimes these fleeces are not as organized into one big blanket as are sheared fleeces.
Often neck wool because it is matted or has considerable VM is offered free with a purchase of a fleece upon request.
We vacuum pack to save on postage paid by the buyer.

Contact us about wholesale prices on white and off white fleeces in orders of 20 lbs. or more.

We also sell Shetland Roving and Batts.
